Curriculum & Instruction

 
MNMS teachers and students use the same district approved curriculum as the other Millard middle schools as well as take the same state or district assessments.  NMS teachers receive ongoing training in the philosophy, instruction and assessment of the Middle Years Program.  This training shapes the delivery of the district curriculum as well as the way students are assessed.  Teachers work endlessly to develop engaging interactive lessons that are inquiry based and challenge our student to learn and grow.  NMS teachers work to design authentic performance based assessments that provide their students with real world applications.​
