Past, Present and Future at MNMS:

The International Baccalaureate – Middle Years Program (MYP) was implemented in at MNMS in 2005.  We started as a school within a school where students could select to be in the program.  Since we started the program, enrollment has increased.  During the 2012-2013 school year, the North Middle School Strategic Planning Committee made up of parent, students and staff created an action plan to transition NMS to an all IB-MYP school.  As a result of increasing demand for participation in the IB-MYP at NMS, in the 2013-2014 school year, all of the sixth and seventh grade classes were all MYP and in the 2014-2015 school year, we became a whole school IB-MYP school.
